What is Immunity?

Since Covid19 struck in March in India there is lot of Discussion regarding Importance of Immunity so today i want to elaborate some important points regarding immunity
 *What is Immunity?* 
I dont want to discuss technical things but 
In simple terms to understand. Immunity is organisms capacity to handle unfavourable conditions perticularly in regards of Infection, poisons etc factors.
Till today Immunity played major role in existence of Human race.
Before discovery of Antibiotics there is existence of Infections and mankind survived through epidemics and pandemics on the basis of immunity.
Our body must have a proper immunity otherwise if immunity fails then its impossible to defend ourselves from falling prey to infections.We human race we are living with various bacterias and viruses since centuries.
So its very important to understand what we should do to maintain proper immunity.
Ayurveda considered concept of "Kha Vaigunya"(Weak point) until unless there is presence of kha vaigunya according to Ayurvedic literature disease will not develop.
for example goup of freinds go to eat ice cream in winter 1-2 of them will develop Comman cold and others will not that means there is presence of Kha vaigunya (Weak point) in them for development of this perticular disease. And others dont have such khavaigunya ( weak point) so they dont develop disease.
 its important to understand kha vaigunuya in body before development of disease and strengthen it properly.

Before development of any disease there are symtoms which shows that there is khavaigunya we should understand this symptoms and start measures to correct it 
for example before development of Kidney stone many patients give complaint of Burning/ redness in urine, before development of comman cold there is symptom of sore throat we should understand such symptoms and start treatment immediately so that we can restrict disease progression.

According to affected system there is description of different Rasayan dravyas in Ayurved.
Important :-
So to have proper Immunity we must have
 1.Proper food 
2.Proper sleep
3.Proper excersize
Proper food means following proper eating 1habits (Ahar vidhi vishesh ayatane)
following proper food combinations (avoiding virrudhann)
Having meals in proper quantity
2.7-8  hours sound sleep
3.Regular exercise
Ahar and Nidra(sleep) are  two major pillars of healthy life.
I dont think there is shortcut to develop Immunity.
